Molecular characterization and generated DNA barcode for several insects done and deposited in NCBI, USA and Barcode of Life Database (BOLD), Canada
Developed functional Microsatelite markers for studying allelic variations among different populations of Helicoverpa armigera
Studied the insecticide resistance in Diamondback moth and role of endosymbionts in pesticide degradation
Confirmed the occurrence of Chrysoperla zastrowi Sillemi Henry et al., in India
Genetic stocks of various populations of C. z. sillemi present in India were collected and occurrence of insecticide resistance in field populations were reported for the first time
Developed pesticide tolerant Chrysoperla zastrowi silliemi
Developed artificial diets for chrysopid predators and filed a patent for the same.
